JanLar Japanese Chin has lived in the Pacific Northwest for a lifetime.

 

  Over 30 years ago we acquired a Standard Poodle puppy named Sir Shadrack of Robinwood. He was a very happy, happy fellow.  So we started him in Obedience.   Shadrack ended up Am-Can UD Sir Shadrack of Robinwood.  Showing dogs became a passion after that.  We have several Obedience and Champion Standard Poodles.

 

We discovered Japanese Chin over 15 years ago.  Am-Can Shannon's JanLar Rikkio was our first Multiple Best in Breed and Group placing Chin.  He set us on our course.

 

We are very careful to have health tests.  We test for Hearts, Eyes, and Patella's.  They are all Certified by our veterinarian.

 

We now have 2 CHIC approved Japanese Chin.  This means they have Certified Heart, Certified Eyes, and Certified Patella's.  Our first Ch JanLar Rikkio's PT Cruiser got his CHIC number at the ripe old age of 8.  Ch JanLar Opal's French Jet is our other.

 

Ch JanLar Rikkio's Opal, DOD, is our first girl to have 9 Champion kids.  This makes her a Dam of Distinction.

 

Our Japanese Chin live in our home they are our house flowers.  They don't live in a Kennel atmosphere.  Our 9 year old grandson lives with us, so the dogs love children.
